***Filter Housing for All Liquid
Applications***
|
ANN ARBOR, MI: Rosedale Products, Inc. announces the most versatile
bag and cartridge filter, the NCO to join the family of our liquid
filtration, solids separation products. The NCO Filter is a
cost-effective approach for many filtration applications. The NCO filter
allows the operator to use standard bag filters with the option of
switching to high dirt holding or high performance filter cartridges.
The NCO incorporates a newly designed hinged, eyenut cover that is
easily removed. This rugged design is rated to 150 PSI and offers

***Industry's First Wireless PH/ORP
Transmitter***
|
WATERTOWN, CT: Rosemount Analytical® Model 6081-P wireless pH
transmitter is the industry’s first wireless pH/ORP transmitter. The
new Model 6081-P measures both pH and ORP and is compatible with most
Rosemount Analytical pH and ORP sensors. The wireless transmitter
installs easily and joins the wireless network quickly, enabling
analytical measurements that were previously impossible due to physical
or economic constraints, or in movable applications. The transmitter
features two-line, 16-character display with simple and intuitive menu
screens and plain language prompts in six local languages that guide the
user through programming and calibration procedures. The transmitter’s
open, standard WirelessHART digital communications provide access to
process variables and essential diagnostic and troubleshooting
information. The diagnostics enable continuous monitoring for problems
such as calibration error, high and low temperature warnings, glass
failure, reference failure, ROM failure, sensor failure, CPU failure,
glass and reference warnings. ---Emerson Process Management

***Platinum Cured Silicone Hose Adds Safety to
Hose Handling***
|
FORT WORTH, TX: Platinum Cured Silicone Hoses offer a seamless,
flexible convoluted or smoothbore hose with an additional extruded
silicone layer over the hose. The silicone layer protects the braided
hose from contaminants and ensures safer operating handling due to
contained braid fray and insulation from heat. Also, the Platinum
Cured Silicone Hoses are autoclavable and the seamless Silicone allows
for easy cleaning. The hoses have an operating temperature up to
450ºF/232ºC and are available with a smoothbore or convoluted core in
sizes ranging from 1/4 in. I.D. up to 2 in. I.D. They also use a single
piece crimp collar, allowing for full working pressure potential and
silicone weather seal. ---Parker/Page International Hose

Presentation topic: "Push. Click. Done. - New
Universal Push to Connect Assembly"
Sponsor: Parker Hannifin - Tube Fittings
Division
Date: Wednesday, May 21,
2008 Time: 11:00am EDT
Parkers new Universal Push to Connect design takes the guess work
out of assembling fluid power connections. Current assembly of threaded
connectors is slow and relies on proper torques and assembly procedures.
Parker’s new design saves time and money by eliminating the wrenching
of hose ends to fittings and the costly rework of improperly assembled
connections.
Simply insert the male hose end into the Universal Push to Connect
fitting and assembly is complete. If a hose needs to be replaced or
maintenance performed, a standard wrench is all you need. Because the
design utilizes standard O-ring Face Seal (ORFS) fittings, an
off-the-shelf ORFS hose assembly can be used to replace any that are
damaged, therefore minimizing downtime.

Presentation topic: "Prepare your air to maximize
cylinder life.
An Instructive Tutorial for Use of Filters, Regulators &
Lubricators"
Sponsor: Bimba Manufacturing
Date: Wednesday, May 21,
2008 Time: 2:00pm EDT
The presentation will discuss the elementary parts of air
preparation. Sizing the right filters is essential to prevent
contaminants migrating to your equipment and causing failures.
Regulators help with the consistent operating pressure your pneumatic
system. Choosing a good lubricator will help reduce excessive component
wear and also prolong your equipment life. We will also review unique
accessories that can help improve your system performance.

Presentation topic: "Designing Belt Power
Transmission Systems for Energy Savings"
Sponsor: Gates Corporation
Date: Wednesday, May 21,
2008 Time: 3:00pm EDT
It’s a topic no one can afford to ignore. Companies are looking
for ways to save energy in power transmission operations. Put simply,
efficient systems save money.
Join Brent Oman, who has over 20 years of drive design experience with
Gates Corporation, for a free webinar on designing the most
energy-saving power transmission solutions. He’ll compare the
capabilities of V-belts and synchronous belts, so that you’re equipped
with the latest information on energy efficiency.
The one-hour webinar will help you answer these questions:
• What is efficiency?
• How do the various types of V-belts and synchronous belts differ?
• What are the energy efficiency advantages of each type of belt?
• What does energy cost?
• What are proven examples or case studies that show the benefits of
energy savings?
• How do I calculate savings and payback?
• What are the maintenance-saving advantages of synchronous belts?
• How can I design for energy savings?
You’ll walk away with practical pointers to start saving energy, and
money, in your drives.
The presentation concludes with an interactive, Q&A session, so bring
your questions.
