Most businesses that fail do so because of their owners' "sins." Usually, when businesses fail, it's not for lack of hard work. On the contrary, most owners put in long hours. 4. Workplace Injuries Rise Following Change to Daylight Savings
According to two Michigan State University researchers, workplace accidents spike after daylight saving time changes every March. Christopher Barnes and David Wagner, both doctoral candidates studying industrial and organizational psychology, found in two separate studies that the March switch to daylight saving time resulted in 40 minutes less sleep for American workers, a 5.7 percent increase in workplace injuries and nearly 68 percent more work days lost to injuries.

5. Even in Hostile Working Environments, Employees Reluctant to Leave Jobs
According to research conducted by Kansas State University psychologists, workers who are publicly criticized for mistakes at work, or who generally are not accepted by their coworkers, still are unlikely to leave their jobs.
