Nielsen recently found that the audience for, amount of content in and time spent watching online video were all significantly higher in May compared to a year ago. As the major networks are learning at breakneck speed, our watching habits are changing, and marketers need to take those changes into account in both designing and buying media for their campaigns. Young people aren’t flocking to Twitter as much as the buzz around the tweeting channel might suggest, according to new research from a social-net r=trade association and Pace University. Only 22% of a group 18 to 24 said they were actively using the microblogging service, compared to 99% who said they were active in an online social network.
