China became a net exporter of machine tools in June, as its total output in 2007 was $39.87 billion, up 35.5% percent from 2006. New Sustainable Distribution Center
ProLogis will develop a 600,000-square-foot distribution center for Bay Valley Food, that will meet the guidelines of the U.S. Green Building Council for LEED Certification. It will incorporate a number of sustainable design and construction techniques including extensive use of recycled and locally sourced construction materials and the installation of an energy-efficient fluorescent lighting system. Ashland Plans to Merge Casting Solutions into Global Joint Venture
Ashland Casting Solutions will join with the foundry-related businesses of Süd-Chemie AG and the businesses of the two partners' current joint venture, Ashland-Südchemie-Kernfest GmbH (ASK).
