Mini-skid loader
The Ramrod Taskmaster
model 1150 mini-skid loader has a patented high-torque hydraulic drive
system that provides 1,600 pounds of tractive power, in addition to a
lift capacity of up to 1,150 pounds, to a height of 72 inches. The 1150
model also boasts an increased carrying capacity of up to 2,300 pounds.
"The 1150 Taskmaster mini-skid is our most powerful mini-skid to date,
yet it remains easy to operate, and features swing-away hydraulic and
gas tanks for trouble-free servicing," says Trilby Henderson,
advertising and promotions coordinator for Leon's Mfg. "The 1150 also
features easy, single-hand palm steering, allowing the operator to
control speed, direction and steering with the right hand while
controlling the loader and attachments with the left."

Compact excavator
Takeuchi's new
12,450-pound TB153FR zero-swing compact excavator combines the
advantages of a zero-tail-swing excavator with a side-to-side offset
boom system to give the operator the ability to slew 360 degrees within
inches of the machine width. The unit also features an interference
prevention system that controls the boom's range of motion to prevent
the bucket from contacting the operator's station.

Compact excavator
The 27SR-3, 30SR-3, 35SR-3 and 50SR-3 compact excavators from Kobelco Construction Machinery
America are designed for smaller scale excavation needs. The
combination of zero-tail swing and center-boom swing gives the operator
the maneuverability needed to dig anywhere around the excavator and
deposit material precisely with minimal repositioning. Whether digging
footers, ripping up concrete or performing general excavating work, the
zero-tail-swing design allows the SR-3 Series excavators to move and
work in close quarters without damaging the machine or the jobsite.

For Contractors
Wheel washer
Construction and worksite managers can now quickly and easily
prevent trucks and heavy equipment from tracking dust, mud, rocks and
debris onto public streets with the help of Riveer's Cyclonator Wheel Wash. Rental
customers can temporarily install the portable system near the jobsite
exit to comply with municipality and environmental regulations, as well
as reduce complaints from neighboring residents and businesses.
"Complete assembly and disassembly instructions make it easy for rental
customers to use, and encourage them to come back and use the Cyclonator
again," says Matt Petter, vice president of marketing for Riveer
Environmental. "It's so portable customers can move it from site to site
for extended rentals.
