Heating and Ventilation Equipment
Portable air ventilation blower
General Equipment's GP8/GP8H portable gasoline air ventilation blower can accommodate most confined workspace requirements. This compact unit is designed for supplying fresh air around construction sites; removing toxic and noxious atmospheres from confined work spaces; aiding in detecting sewer line leaks; and providing fresh air for personnel inside tanks and vaults. The GP8/GP8H is available with a 3.5-hp, 3,600 rpm Briggs & Stratton or Honda engine. The blower housing is fabricated from cast aluminum for superior resistance to external field damage.

Indirect-fired heater
Ground Heaters introduces the Artic Bear Cub 300 indirect-fired heater. Boasting up to 80-percent heater efficiency, the Artic Bear Cub 300 offers a maximum heat input of 288,000 Btu per hour at an airflow rate of 2,355 cfm. The unit runs on either kerosene or No. 1/No. 2 diesel fuel. At 27.5 inches wide, the slim design of the heater allows passage through a standard-width doorway. The unit also features a 36-gallon fuel tank and consumes 2.04 gallons of diesel fuel per hour, allowing for extended runs up to 18 hours at full load.

Lifting
Telescopic handler
Lull, introduces the 944E-42 telescopic handler, which features 80 inches of horizontal boom travel for accurate load placement. The 944E-42 has a 9,000-pound maximum lift capacity with a maximum lift height of 42 feet, and a 500-pound maximum lift capacity with a maximum forward reach of 35 feet, 6 inches. The unit includes a steel frame design that incorporates a patented twin-rail box construction for an overall stronger structure and increased load capacity.

Rough-terrain telehandlers
Genie redesigned its GTH 1048 and GTH 1056 (pictured) rough-terrain telehandlers to easily maneuver in tight spaces without compromising reach and lift capacity. Whether they are lifting or setting materials around a worksite, both machines are capable of moving heavy loads, like steel and bricks, with a maximum lift capacity up to 10,000 pounds. The GTH-1048 has 32 feet, 11 inches of outreach and is capable of lifting 6,000 pounds to 48 feet, and the GTH-1056 features an outreach of 41 feet, 9 inches and lifts 4,000 pounds to 56 feet.

Engines
Emission-compliant engine
The Perkins 800 Series of naturally aspirated and turbocharged, 4-cylinder engines offers a capacity of 3.3 liters. The engines meet all the requirements of EC Stage IIIA and EPA Tier 3 off-highway emissions legislation. An increase in top tank temperature (110 to 112 degrees Celsius) minimizes impact on heat rejection and provides customers with ease of installation. The engine series incorporates a number of features to ensure productivity and durability on the job, including strengthened cast-iron cylinder block to give rigidity and long life, a mechanical rotary fuel injection pump and advanced designed cross-flow cylinder heads to give an improved level of combustion efficiency.

Concrete Masonry and Saws
Cut-off saws
Designed for a variety of demanding applications, Atlas Copco's hydraulic-powered cut-off saws cut through a wide range of materials, including concrete, asphalt, cement, brick and steel. The 14-inch blade on the LS 14 (pictured) provides a cutting depth of 5.3 inches, while the 16-inch LS 16 has a cutting depth of 6.3 inches. The saws' simple direct-drive design provides consistent speed and torque and reduces maintenance requirements, particularly when compared with belt-driven saws, the company says. An open cutting design and adjustable blade guard, as well as a lightweight, well-balanced and compact design, make the cut-off saws easy to operate.

Angle grinder
Equipped with the Hilti Smart Power system and Active Torque Control, the DCG 500-S angle grinder is designed for concrete applications. The tool also features a new slim barrel grip design with rubber padding, which makes the grinder more comfortable and less tiring to use. For added user comfort, the tools also feature a soft-grip side handle to absorb the vibration.

Generators
Diesel generator
The KDE5000TA diesel generator from Kipor North America features a digital control panel that enables the operator to view generator performance, load characteristics, voltage, power, frequency, generator total run time, and battery charge voltage. Its maximum output of 5.0 kVA delivers portable power for various jobsite needs. A convenient electric starter gets the generator up and running quickly. Despite its high output, the generator keeps running for 8.5 hours on a single tank of fuel.

Portable generator
Honda introduces the EU6500is portable generator, which delivers fuel efficiency, clean power output and quiet operation in a portable package. Because of its large power output, improved fuel efficiency and quiet operation, it is suited to provide home back-up power during a blackout or other power emergency. The EU6500is has a dry weight of 253 pounds, which is a reduction in footprint for a unit producing a high power output. The power behind the generator is the Honda GX390 engine, which provides clean, 4-cycle power to the unit along with an overhead valve system. Eco-Throttle technology and a high-efficiency inverter design allow for low fuel consumption, reducing fuel consumption by 30 percent at 1/4 load compared with previous models.

Other Products
Dust collection products
Dustless Technologies introduces its patented line of dust collection products, which improves worker efficiency and enhances safety. The vacuum system contains up to 99 percent of air-borne particles and can be used for wet or dry vacuuming without making any adjustments because the filters don't get wet. It is specially designed to capture the fine dust created by drywall sanding and diamond tool use.

Pipe clamp system
A portable pipe clamp system with automatic feed is available from CS Unitec for use with the company's portable pneumatic hacksaw. This system attaches to the hacksaw and the pipe and it operates off of the same 90-psi air supply as the saw. This self-feeding device facilitates automatic cutting of the pipe up to 30 inches in diameter.
