loading and leveling functions of a standard bucket with the grabbing
abilities of a grapple. The unit caters to a variety of applications,

demanding loads such as logs, rocks and demolition debris. The
Dig-&-Grab buckets are available in 66-, 72- and 78-inches wide.

Telescopic material
handler
Volvo
Construction Equipment introduces the VR-843C telescopic material
handler, which offers operators ergonomic functionality, increased power
and improved boom control. A turbocharged 110-hp Tier 2 Cummins engine
provides power and the machine has a 43-foot, 1-inch lift height. The
VR-843C also features a forward reach of 28 feet, 2 inches and a reach
below grade of 2 feet, 8 inches. Volvo hydraulics provide improved
control of the load to the operator throughout the boom lifting range,
resulting in accelerated telescopic action, which puts the load into
position faster. Built-in cushioning at the end of the lifting sequence
allows the load to be placed and transported with increased smoothness.

Abrasives & Blades
Diamond blades
The SpeedWave diamond blades from Bosch Power Tools offer a new
segment design and a center vibration-dampening Cooling Disc to cut
faster and last longer. Available in 4.5-, 5-, 7- and 9-inch diameters,
the blades are designed to cut cured and reinforced concrete, roofing
tile, brick and masonry materials. The wave-shaped ridge along both
sides of each segment is designed to reduce blade friction and drag. The
design also helps clear dust faster for better overall performance. The
Cooling Disc uses the blade's rotation to draw in air and evenly cool
the blade surface for longer life.

Diamond blades
Wacker's
line of diamond blades features a color-coded system for easier blade
selection, as well as a split segment design that offers versatility,
faster cutting, longer life and lower vibrations through the increased
number of segments. By doubling the number of segments, the angle of
contact to the material is reduced to provide faster cutting with lower
vibrations. There are more exit points for dust particles, which keeps
the blade cooler and increases the life of the blade. The combination of
a softer bond and increased airflow allows this blade to work on various
materials on the jobsite. The blades are available with a 12- to 14-inch
diameter.

The Bobcat tree fork attachment
is designed for landscapers and nurseries that transport balled, potted
and burlap-covered trees and decorative landscape rock. The attachment
is approved for use on Bobcat MT52 and MT55 mini-track loaders and 463
and 553 skid-steer loaders. The attachment offers a stationary right arm
that can be mounted in two positions for optimizing the size of objects
that can be transported. The left arm opens and closes via a hydraulic
cylinder, enabling the attachment to carry objects between 7 inches and
36 inches wide.

Overseeder
Turfco Direct introduces
the LS-22 overseeder, which is designed to deliver maximum seed
germination. Optimized 1 1/2-inch blade spacing and micro-screw depth
adjustment provides quick, accurate blade adjustments for optimal
seed-to-soil contact in any conditions. A new seed window allows the
user to quickly reference seed levels, and large pneumatic tires easily
roll over uneven terrain, enhancing the LS-22's all-conditions
performance.

Vibratory plow
Ditch Witch introduces the
420sx vibratory plow, which features a dual-speed attachment drive, an
operator's console that moves with the operator and a fold-down ROPS
that enables the unit to maneuver under tree limbs, eaves and other
low-hanging obstacles. Overall productivity is enhanced by the machine's
11-gallon fuel tank that allows the operator to work longer without
having to stop to refuel.

Grapple rake attachment
The Toro grapple rake attachment,
for use with Toro Dingo compact utility loaders, is designed for picking
up and removing trees, bushes, roots and rocks, as well as demolition
and construction debris. The grapple rake attachment is 34.5 inches
wide, weighs 270 pounds and includes two hydraulic cylinders. It
operates like a bucket when used with the loader. Operators can raise
and lower it, as well as roll the unit over and back-rake material away
from buildings and fence lines. The attachments' clamping force from tip
to tip is 3,000 pounds, and its tines are strong enough to dig up roots
and rocks.

Portable wash station
The Typhoon portable wash station from Riveer Environmental is completely
self-contained and the blue and powder-coated steel makes it easier for
users to clean small equipment quickly while complying with
environmental standards. The Typhoon has automatic controls and the
pressure washer gun, which is attached to an overhead boom, gives easy
360-degree washing access from outside the wash rack. The built-in
access ramp closes automatically. The Typhoon installs, and re-installs,
quickly in the area of one parking space and performs well on uneven
ground because its grated sump pulls water from both ends at once.
