Earth-Moving
Skid-steer loaders
Caterpillar's C-Series skid-steer loaders -- 246C, 256C, 262C and 272C -- feature electro-hydraulic joystick control of the hydrostatic drive system and electronic torque management for smooth operation. The C-Series machines are designed for easy entry and exit. The large doorway and low threshold create a large opening, and the tilt cylinders, now located under the lift arms, do not interfere with access. The cab is designed to provide a clean and quiet working environment. Ventilation air is filtered to keep dust out and clean air in.

Compact excavator
Mustang Manufacturing introduces the 3803ZT zero-tail-swing compact excavator. Its design eliminates rear overhang and provides increased maneuverability and visibility for the operator. The excavator also features a side-mounted engine and rear-mounted hydraulic and fuel tanks, which allow for a large operator's station. This design also gives mechanics easy access to all maintenance points.

Saws
Walk-behind saws
The design of Wacker's new series of walk-behind saws promotes long life and low maintenance. A long-life poly V-belt provides direct power transmission from the engine to the cutting shaft. Double-sealed bearings keep concrete and dust out, reducing maintenance and prolonging the life of the bearings. Other features include a vibration damping ergonomic handle system that makes individual adjustments to the handle width and height possible, allowing for optimum operator comfort and control of the unit.

Concrete saw
ICS introduces the 613GC diamond chain-based concrete saw, which is an upgrade to the concrete saw originally launched in 2002. The 613GC cuts up to 14 inches deep and uses patented SealPro diamond-segmented chain technology. It is powered by an 80cc displacement 2-cycle engine, which produces 5.7 hp. The new ICS 613GC incorporates upgrades to the starter system, ignition and cooling system to ensure durability and fewer user problems.

Outdoor Power Equipment
Compact aerator
The CA-18 compact aerator from Classen features removable weights, a folding handle and four lift/tie down handles to make the unit portable enough to fit in enclosed vehicles. This core aerator fits through a 30-inch gate, making it suitable for residential use. The machine comes equipped with 24 tines with a coring depth of up to 3 inches. The aerating width is 17.5 inches and the coverage is 23,000 square feet per hour.

Auger
The Easy Auger II with maximum drive from MacKissic features a patented drive system that provides increased torque to drive through tough material. The machine comes in push and self-propelled models, and has Robin or Honda engine options. It is available with a wide range of augers from 2 to 18 inches in diameter with a variety of teeth. The two-stage pump provides up to a maximum of 150 rpm in auger speed and up to a maximum torque of 350 foot-pounds.

Chipper shredder
The Wood-Pro AVP chipper shredder from Vandermolen offers clog-free shredding or chipping because garden waste or up to 6-inch brush is turned into mulch or chips in less than one cycle of the processor wheel. The AVP's triple-action processor generates a fine mulch and a small chip size designed for mulching ground covers.

Generators
Industrial generator
The Honda I-Pro series industrial generator offers 6500 watts of portable inverter power. The series is the first to use Honda's proprietary I-Monitor technology, which provides information for hours of operation, wattage and engine speed; as well as diagnostics for convenient servicing. The EB7000i offers full GFCI protection for regulated jobsites, 120/240-volt selector switch, two-wheel transport kit, hanger kit and folding handles.

Module generators
The new Triton Power heavy-duty mobile power module generators for large-scale backup energy needs are available from 800 kW to 2,000 kW, are designed for electrical contractors or equipment rental businesses whose clients need additional power as a result of temporary maintenance or operational growth and expansion. Encased in a new, durable high cube container, the power module is engineered with sound-attenuated interior insulation with stainless trim. Mounted mufflers with installed custom heat blankets lines the module and an internal updraft radiator discharge scoop releases air through the top for quieter operation.

Other Products
Silt-fence installer attachment
The Bobcat silt-fence installer attachment provides a fast and secure method of installing silt fence. Silt-fence material is quickly threaded under a rod and through the chute on the blade. The attachment is then lowered into the ground to a maximum depth of 20 inches, and the silt fence unrolls automatically as the machine is driven backward. The quick-change cap that mounts on the end of the silt-fence holder includes a spring-loaded plate that ensures proper tension so the roll won't unwind unintentionally.

All-terrain tire
McLaren introduces the NU-AIR AT, a new all-terrain tire for skid steers and backhoes that combines the cushioned ride of pneumatic tires with the durability of solid tires. Featuring strategically placed holes throughout its specifically engineered sidewalls, the NU-AIR AT is resistant to cuts and snags in severe operating conditions. The placement and depth of the sidewall holes are designed to create proper cushioning for optimum machine performance and longevity.
