High-Reach Equipment
Aerial lift
The Model HB-1030E aerial lift from Custom Equipment utilizes
a stable lift mechanism. The load capacity of the HB-1030E is listed at
340 kg, and the machine has a 2-person work platform size of 64 cm x 152
cm. To provide additional workspace, the machine has a 76 cm slide-out
deck extension. The machine utilizes a self-contained, single hose
hydraulic system and has dual rear-wheel electric drive and electric

Telescopic handler
The Manitou MT 8044 telescopic
handler lifts 7,000 pounds to its full lift height of 44 feet, and 8,000
pounds to 37 feet. It features a welded box-section-design boom.
Increased operating capacities are achieved without the use of
stabilizers or fluid-filled tires. For added stability, however,
stabilizers are an optional feature. Other design features include a
rugged frame with reinforced C-channels, internal wet disc brakes for
longer life and better stopping capability, and a negative parking brake
system.

Hole diggers
The 300 Series professional hole diggers from General Equipment are designed to
handle heavy-duty digging projects from commercial fencing to upscale
landscaping. A four-cycle, 3,600-rpm Honda GXV140 5-hp gasoline engine

resistor-type spark plug helps with starting. To increase operator
control, a durable Magura twist-grip throttle is positioned to maximize
hand and arm strength.

Concrete Equipment
Concrete drill
The Model 65B on-grade concrete drill from E-Z Drill operates on a minimum of 20
cfm. The machine drills holes from 1/2- to 7/8-inch in diameter and can
be adjusted to center on slabs as thick as 2 feet. It can drill to 8
inches deep in a 2-foot patch and to a depth of 12 inches in a 30-inch
area. The E-Z Drill 65B weighs 65 pounds, allowing it to be loaded,
unloaded and repositioned by a single operator. An optional vertical
conversion kit increases the unit's versatility, allowing it to switch
from horizontal to vertical drilling after a 20-minute installation.

Drain-cleaning Equipment
Drain cleaner
Ridge Tool introduces the
Ridgid K-400 drain cleaner, which features an improved portable design
designed for plumbing contractors to better navigate on the jobsite. The
fully integrated wheeled cart design and built-in telescoping handle

Drain-cleaning unit
The Power-Vee from General Pipe
Cleaners is designed to handle 1/4-inch through 3/8-inch cables
without any need for adjustment. By squeezing the feed lever on the
unit, three offset rollers in the automatic feed then grip the cable and
drive it into the line. The Power-Vee feeds and retrieves 3/8-inch
cables at 16 feet per minute. The unit also features the Dyna-Thrust
bearing system, which is designed to reduce motor wear and extend the
life of the tool.

Pipe lift
The Kenco Pipe Lift is designed
for safe and simple handling of pipe ranging from 3-inch OD to 100-inch
OD. The scissor action of the machine allows each model to lift a wide
range of pipe sizes. Centering the lifter on the pipe is not necessary,
the manufacturer says. The Pipe Lift doubles production of pipe
installation versus methods using slings and cables. It eliminates the
need for a laborer on the ground.
