Aerial Equipment
Telescopic
handlers
Case Construction Equipment
introduces three telescopic handlers. The TX742, TX842 and TX945
(pictured) feature a low-boom design to enhance both stability and
visibility. The high-mounted cab is designed to offer improved
all-around visibility. The 153-inch turning radius provides
maneuverability in confined spaces, and for added productivity, front
and rear work lights and mirrors are standard. Equipped with the Case
Family IV 4.5-liter turbocharged engine, the TX742 is rated at 95 net
hp, while the TX842 and TX945 are both rated at 108 net hp.

Mini
electric scissorlifts
Genie Industries introduces
the GS-1532 and the GS-1932 (pictured) mini electric scissors, which are
also known as “slab scissors.” The two models offer improved
maneuverability, a zero inside-turning-radius, non-marking tires, a
variable-speed DC motor and 25- to 30-percent gradeability among other
features.

Demolition Hammers & Tools
Demolition
attachments
Geith, a division of DII
Attachments, introduces Geith Precision, a line of attachments for the
demolition, scrap and recycling industries. The attachments are designed
to function in all stages of the demolition processes and feature
multiprocessors, rotating and fixed pulverizers, rotating steel shears,
mechanical crushers and mechanical grapples. The multiprocessor is
available with five different jaw types including concrete jaws for
cutting concrete, steel shear jaws for metal, pulverizing jaws for
crushing concrete and cutting rebar, combination jaws for concrete and
metal, and tank jaws for cutting steel plate. The variety of
interchangeable jaw types allows customers to utilize just one
attachment for different applications.

Bucket
attachment
The Eco-Crusher bucket attachment, from Giberson Enterprises, fits easily
onto any brand of excavator, and quickly crushes concrete, bricks,
blocks, basalt and aggregate. The unit operates easily onsmall jobsites,
scooping and crushing the material on-site. The Eco-Crusher line
includes four models: the BF60 for 18,000-pound excavators, the BF70 for
28,000-pound excavators; the BF90 for 48,000-pound excavators and the
BF120 for 68,000- to 110,000-pound excavators.

Electric
breaker
The EH 27 Low Vib electric breaker from Wacker
Neuson has a leaf-spring dampening system that is the basis for the
reduction of hand-arm vibration, and features a 28-percent reduction
from previous models. The EH 27 Low Vib’s air percussion system offers
high single-stroke energy with minimal machine weight creating high
productivity and improved power-to-weight ratio. The unit weighs in at
60 pounds and hits with 37 foot-pounds of impact energy at a rate of
1,000 bpm. This user-friendly tool also offers an additional third
handle for maximum versatility at different angles.

Engines
Overhead
cam engine
Subaru introduces the
EX40 overhead cam engine to its line of high-performance air-cooled,
4-cycle EX Series engines. The chain-driven overhead cam technology
allows the EX40’s intake and exhaust valves to be positioned to offer
lower resistance for the air/fuel mixture flow, according to the
manufacturer, thus optimizing engine performance. Designed with an
efficient pent-roof combustion chamber, the EX40 is able to utilize a
high compression ratio to produce higher power and torque.

Engine
Honda’s GX25
360-degree inclinable four-stroke engines can be used and stored in any
position through a design that keeps oil in a completely misted state,
lubricating moving engine parts and ensuring that oil cannot
accidentally flow into the combustion chamber. This quiet, low-pollution
four-stroke technology in engines is designed for equipment such as
trimmers or small tiller/cultivators that previously could only be
powered by two-stroke engines. The design of these engines, including an
overhead-valve cross-flow combustion chamber, provides a wide, smooth
range of torque.

Compact
track loader
Mustang introduces a fourth
compact track loader to its line. Model MTL312 is the most compact of
the Mustang track loader lineup, which also includes models MTL16, MTL20
and MTL25. The MTL312 has a dedicated track design, meaning the unit is
built as a track loader with a heavy-duty undercarriage system versus
being built as a skid-steer loader with a bolt-on undercarriage. With an
operating weight of 5,952 pounds and a width of less than 58 inches, the
MTL312 can maneuver in tight spaces.

Hydraulic
earth drills
The hydraulic earth drills from Little Beaver are designed for
industrial fencing, landscaping, soil sampling and horizontal boring. By
combining higher horsepower engines with the reversibility, reliability
and convenience of hydraulic drive, the hydraulic earth drills are well
suited for drilling in rocky or heavy clay soils. Extra torque allows
them to handle augers to 16 inches in diameter, and can drill depths of
up to 30 feet with 12 inches or smaller diameter augers depending on
soil conditions. A forward/reverse lever lets you remove the auger if it
gets caught under an obstruction, such as a rock or tree root.

Edger
The Turf Teq Power Edger is a
self-propelled machine that creates new landscaping beds, redefines
existing beds and trenchers. All three of the functions can be performed
by changing the blade and guard for each application. It features a
13-hp Honda engine and a hydrostatic forward and reverse transmission.
The design also accepts a rotary power broom attachment and power rake
attachment.

Concrete Masonry and Saws
Hand-held
gas saw
The Hilti DS-HS 80 V2
hand-held gas saw provides a redesigned starter assembly, a
cooler-running motor and redesigned tank geometry that is designed to
improve fuel intake. Providing increased performance in deep cuts, the
saw also features a new carburetor setting for increased acceleration,
while the narrow tool body and tall motor provide balance and less
vibration for optimum working comfort. Hilti offers a complete selection
of diamond blades for a variety of applications and base materials.

Flat
saw
The RGC FS20 Flat Saw is
designed for flush and corner cuts up to 8 inches deep. The unit is
capable of cutting wet, dry, vertically, horizontally, under water and
in confined areas. The FS20 is also designed to cut concrete, stone,
brick, block, pipe, reinforced concrete, steel beams, and aggregates
quickly and cleanly. The unit features a dual-function trigger for
automatic wet cutting, a heavy-duty guard for flush cutting and a guard
attachment for standard cutting.

Concrete
saw
MK Diamond introduces the
MK-3000 concrete saw that offers operators a compact size and is
lightweight for easy maneuverability. The 650-pound MK-3000 is powered
by a 35-hp air-cooled V-twin Briggs & Stratton powerplant, and utilizes
a manual depth feed. Two blade configurations are available: a 24-inch
blade guard provides up to a 9.5-inch depth of cut, and a 30-inch blade
guard provides up to a 12.5-inch depth of cut. Both models include
heavy-duty blade shaft bearings that are designed to provide long
service life combined with easy access and maintenance.
