Skid-steer Loaders
Skid-steer loaders
John Deere introduces two
models — the 313 (pictured) and 315 — of skid-steer loaders that are
compact and maneuverable, yet powerful with rate operating capacities of
1,300 and 1,500 pounds. They feature 45-hp engines that are certified to
EPA Interim Tier-4 emissions levels, as well as electronic controls for
improved idle stability, cold-start performance and transient response.
The skid steers also feature a radial-lift boom. The bucket rests close
to the machine when in the down position and swings forward for great
reach in the work zone 4- to 5-foot range.

Komatsu’s SK815-5
standard equipment two-speed travel system allows for low impact
shift-on-the-go speed changes. The hydraulic self-leveling (up only)
bucket with 3,950 pounds of breakout force enhances productivity. The
optional super-flow hydraulic system increases the available oil flow
for attachments from 16 gpm to 26 gpm. The joystick-mounted control
system incorporates momentary reverse flow and multiple electrical
inputs enabling the machine to power most attachments. A 41-inch
wheelbase provides a stable ride and platform for operating high
production attachments.

Compact track loaders
Takeuchi announces the
addition of the TL120 to its established line of compact track loaders.
The TL120 is a turbo-powered, 52-hp machine with an operating weight of
just under 6,000 pounds. It features a tipping load of 3,549 pounds with
a bucket breakout force in the bucket cylinders of 4,821 pounds and
5,042 pounds in the lift arm cylinders. A high-sprocket planetary drive
system provides an efficient and durable method of speed reduction and
torque amplification and eliminated drive chains, chain cases, axles and
hubs that require periodic maintenance and could cause failure.

Electric scissorlift
JLG has upgraded its ES electric
scissorlift series to improve durability, safety and productivity
features after listening to feedback from JLG customers. All JLG ES
Series models are now fitted with an onboard Multifunction Digital
Indicator unit, which includes a battery level indicator and diagnostics
code display. The indicator is installed in a protected position behind
the right-hand battery cover and can simplify fault finding to help
minimize downtime. Safety and durability features of ES Series electric
scissorlifts have been enhanced by coiling the heavily protected cable
connected to the control box and routing it around a bracket in the
corner of the platform. The new cable path removes a tripping hazard
when deploying the deck extension and also eliminates the risk of the
cable being accidentally crushed or becoming entangled in materials and
equipment.

Boomlifts
UpRight introduces the TL37
and TL49K (pictured), which are 43-foot and 55-foot working height
articulated boomlifts. The TL37 is light with a stable in-line boom and
hydraulic outriggers, jib and powered cage rotation come standard. The
TL49K boasts heavy-duty booms, features a wide variety of power options
and is simple to maintain.

Self-propelled booms
Bil-Jax introduces two
self-propelled X-Boom models. The 36XT (pictured) is a telescopic boom
featuring 43 feet of working height and a 32-foot maximum outreach.
Weighing in at 4,900 pounds, operators can transport the 36XT on a
trailer with a medium-duty SUV or truck. The 45XA is an articulation
boom with a 51-foot working height and 27 feet of maximum outreach. The
weight of the 45XA is less than 4,850 pounds. Both X-Booms require no
commercial driver’s license for towing.

Towing accessories
Redneck Trailer
Supplies introduces the Redline Towing Accessories series, which
includes receiver hitches, drop hitches, ball mounts, locks and cargo
platforms. The lightweight receivers attach to the vehicle bumper and
allow the use of a ball mount to level the trailer when towing. The
receiver hitches and tubs are designed for use with 2-inch ball mounts.
The Redline coupler locks prevent the theft of a trailer, while hitch
locks prevent removal of the ball mount. The 20-inch by 60-inch cargo
platform is designed for use with 1¼- and 2-inch receiver hitches and
features a mesh floor, convenient tie loops and a 500-pound carrying
capacity. The powder-coat finish helps to prevent corrosion.

Trailers
Rogers Brothers Corp.
introduces the Ultima and TAG Series trailers that are available in
capacities of 20 to 60 tons and can handle a wide variety of
construction equipment. The Ultima Series, available in 35-, 50-, 55-
and 60-ton capacities, enables contractors to haul longer, wider and
heavier loads while maintaining compliance with GVWR regulations.
Rogers' drawbar-style TAG Series trailers are available in 20- and
25-ton capacities to accommodate a variety of loads. A gradual loading
angle ensures safe, easy loading and long drawbars provide optimal
weight distribution and maneuverability. Other standard features include
heavy-duty landing gear, tough unitized frames, spacious oak decks,
sealed beam lights and heavy-duty suspensions.
