Compact track loader
The new CTL55 compact track loader from Gehl features a narrow, 58-inch width for work on confined jobsites. Powered by a 51-hp Yanmar Tier-3, EPA-certified turbocharged diesel engine, the CTL55 has pilot-operated joystick controls that include hydraulic push-button controls for boom float and detent for auxiliary hydraulics. The self-leveling hydraulic lift action is designed to keep loads balanced when the lift arm is raised. Spring-applied, hydraulic-release multi-disc wet brakes provide quick braking action, holding the loader on any grade.

Loader
Swinger Loaders offers a new SAE-rated 1,500-pound lift capacity unit with self-leveling bucket and an optional straight mast conversion. The model 1K features a 48-hp Cummins diesel engine with an easy-access transverse mounting. Power travels through 2-speed hydrostatics to an easy-keep mechanical driveline with planetary reduction hubs on each of the four drive wheels. The drive system includes a 45-percent limited slip function for traction and turnability. Designed for landscape work, tree removal, waste handling and construction, the Swinger 1K is 56 inches wide by 91 inches high.

The new line of 4- to 16-inch diamond blades from Makita feature high-quality synthetic diamonds embedded into the bonding matrix of each saw blade. The line includes segmented and turbo diamond blades in a range of sizes. Applications include cured concrete, block, brick, granite, ceramic, asphalt and green concrete.

Cross-over diamond blade
The www.diteq.net Diteq Corp. introduces the X-TEQ cross-over diamond blade, which features three different types of segments. It is designed to handle abrasive materials like green concrete, asphalt and block. Another vital component is ARIX diamond arrangement technology segments. Grass trimmer/brush cutter
The TBC-280PF grass trimmer/brush cutter from Nikko Tanaka weighs 12.8 pounds and delivers 1.4 hp, providing end users with increased power-to weight ratio. Powered by Tanaka’s 27cc PurFire engine, key features include a 23-fluid-ounce, see-through fuel tank, padded D handle, 5-inch semi-automatic cutting head and a solid-steel drive shaft.

Land clearing recycler
Bandit introduces the model 1680 Sharptooth Beast recycler designed for land clearing operations, municipalities and tree services looking for an efficient way to dispose of brush, limbs and tree waste on site. Compact, simple to maneuver and easy to tow, the 1680 features a 52-inch-wide by 24-inch-high infeed opening and weighs less than 20,000 pounds. The unit also features 26 cutter bodies with teeth, engine options up to 275-hp and an optional 36-inch hydraulic folding infeed pan.

Concrete Equipment
Concrete slab buster
Allied Construction Products introduces the Hammerhead II Model HB 550, which is a self-contained hydraulic concrete slab buster designed to demolish concrete flatwork. The Hammerhead II can operate either vertically or horizontally on any concrete surface. An internal hydraulic cylinder and valve system compresses a heavy compression spring set. On the return stroke of the cylinder, the unit releases the trigger mechanism, which causes the 4-inch impact bar weighing 388 pounds to fire at the concrete with up to a 4,000-foot-pound-energy-class impact force.

Hand-held decorative saw
The Sawtec hand-held Dekrasaw is designed for the decorative concrete industry and can be used to cut and score decorative lines into concrete by one person. The 110-volt saw is composed of an aluminum base, making for a durable and lightweight machine. It features an optional pivot base that can be used for radial cuts to create geometric shapes, arcs and circles.

Auger bucket
The Danuser industrial group auger bucket is designed to mix, transport and dispense concrete (up to 1-inch slump), sand, washed gravel (3/4-inch maximum) and asphalt. The auger bucket has a ½-yard capacity of 22 bags (80 pounds each) of premix concrete, and offers accurate and controlled discharge of 1/2-yard in 50 seconds. The quick-attach frame on either side of a unit allows for right- or left-hand discharge.

Generators
Rental power unit
The 1,000 kW Rental Power unit from Cummins Power Generation is certified to meet EPA Tier-2 emissions standards and features low emissions, increased running time, selectable voltages and easy operator access for maintainability. It provides temporary power for construction and emergency power for commercial buildings, industrial plants and public works facilities. The trailerized unit comes equipped with an easy-to-operate customer interface designed to minimize setup. The unit’s enclosure features 110-percent fluid containment to prevent jobsite contamination from fuel leaks or spills.

Diesel welding generator
The Pro 300 diesel welding generator from Miller Electric features improved reliability through fewer and more robust electronic components. An optional 4-cylinder, 24-hp Deutz engine provides power for using larger electrodes and gouging with carbons up to ¼-inch diameter. Designed for construction fleets, small contractors and pipe-welding applications, the Pro 300 provides 20 to 410 amps of welding power, as well as 12,000 watts of peak generator power. The unit also features a low-fuel shutdown function that shuts down the engine before fuel runs out.

Compact generator
The QAX 24 generator from Atlas Copco Compressors features rear-mounted controls and a front-hinging, clamshell canopy. The QAX 24 is constructed with a Zincor-steel housing and a powder-coated finish that is designed to give additional protection against corrosion and fading. The compact frame houses a rugged three-cylinder Deutz turbo-diesel engine that complies with all noise and emissions regulations.
