Mini-Excavators
Mini-excavator
The KX080-3 mini-excavator features Kubota’s load-sensing hydraulic system engineered for smoother handling regardless of load size. The system also allows the operator to perform simultaneous operations such as dozing and utilizing front attachments without losing speed. For optimal fuel savings, an auto-idle system reduces engine rpm instinctively when high engine speed isn’t needed. When the control levers are in neutral for more than 4 seconds, the engine rpm automatically idles. Move any control lever and the engine rpm immediately returns.

Compact excavator
Mustang Manufacturing introduces the new 2803ZT zero-tail-swing compact excavator, which was engineered to eliminate rear overhang and enhance stability with a longer undercarriage. The 2803ZT also features a side-mounted engine and rear-mounted hydraulic and fuel tanks, giving mechanics easy access to all maintenance points.

Heating and Ventilation Equipment
Air ventilation blower
The EP8HL hazardous location air ventilation blower from General Equipment designed for areas containing hazardous locations including petrochemical plants, fuel servicing facilities, industrial processing locations and grain elevators. Power is supplied by a 1/3-hp, 115-VAC explosion-proof electric motor. Other design features include spark-proof aluminum-alloy construction, self-contained on/off switch and wiring components meeting hazardous location specifications.

Outdoor heater
The White Radiant Outdoor LP Heater from MTA Distributors provides 40,000 Btu per hour, Piezo, push-button ignition and an automatic safety tip-over device. A vertical-shaped heat emitter, 34-inch rust-free aluminum reflector and fully integral ignition control valve are additional features. No electricity is required and a wheel kit is included. Applications include patio, deck and pool areas.

Breakers
Hydraulic breaker attachments
Bobcat expands its line of hydraulic breaker attachments with the HB280 and HB2380 (pictured). The HB280 is a smaller version of current Bobcat hydraulic breakers and the HB2380 is a larger model that is in the 1,000 foot-pound impact energy class. Available for use only on the Bobcat 316 compact excavator, the HB280 is in the 60 foot-pound impact energy class and has a CIMA rating of 59 foot-pounds. The HB280 weighs 127 pounds and provides 1,120 to 1,290 bpm through a hydraulic flow of 3.4 to 6.1 gpm. The HB2380 features a hydraulic flow range of 19.8 to 33 gpm, provides 600 to 950 bpm and has a CIMA rating of 700 foot-pounds.

Breaker
DeWalt introduces the D25980K breaker, designed for plumbers, waterproofers, demolition crews and public utilities workers to break up concrete and asphalt on the jobsite. The breaker is equipped with metal, automotive-style seals on the ram and piston. These seals help to prevent dust and debris from entering the unit, ensuring a longer life. The D25980K offers 61 foot-pounds of impact energy and it is designed with an electronic control system that provides the unit with a controlled start and constant speed under load. The soft-start system allows the breaker to begin breaking as soon as the tool comes in contact with concrete.

Lawn & Garden Equipment
Zero-turn riders
The new Toro Z Master Z400 (pictured) and Z500 Series commercial zero-turn riders, designed for landscape contractors, feature many of the same attributes of the Toro Turbo Force deck, including rugged spindle assemblies, flexible discharge chutes, and high-strength, ¼-inch-thick blades that resist the flexing and rapid wear often associated with abrasive conditions. The Z400 Series is powered by a 21-hp Kawasaki engine on both the 48- and 52-inch models. The Z500 Series is available with a 27-hp Kohler Command Pro engine on 52- and 60-inch cutting decks.

Drum chipper
Bandit Industries introduces the 15-inch diameter capacity Model 1490XP drum chipper. It offers a compact size for easy towing and maneuvering and an oversized drum for smooth, efficient chipping. A larger diameter drum allows a majority of the material to be chipped on the bottom half of the drum and on an angle with the grain of the wood, reducing vibration and fuel consumption. The Model 1490XP features a 17 3/4-inch high by 19.5-inch chipper opening to more than accommodate limb material up to 15 inches in diameter and engine options up to 142 hp.

Concrete Masonry and Saws
Compact masonry saw
The Multiquip MP3 is designed for the efficient cutting of bricks, block, interlocking pavers, stone, terra cotta and roofing tiles. Positioning of the operator handle allows an unobstructed view of the work surface during all cutting operations, promoting safety and ensuring pinpoint cutting accuracy. Sporting a 14-inch blade capacity, the MP3 is powered by a 2.5-hp, 115-volt, single-phase motor. The motor operates at 3,600 rpm and features a removable and washable foam air filtration system and water pump cordage. This compact masonry saw weighs 70 pounds. The unit’s frame is built with rigid aluminum die-cast tubing for improved strength in demanding environments.

Walk-behind saw
The CSR 150 pneumatic walk-behind saw from CS Unitec weighs 107 pounds and is easily portable between work sites. It is designed for breaking out concrete and asphalt; and for performing applications such as joint sawing, floor sawing, trenching and road repair. An easy-to-use crank handle raises and lowers the blade for cutting depths up to 7 inches. This 9.5-hp saw is available with a blade capacity of up to 20 inches in diameter. Because the unit is air-powered and emits no exhaust fumes, it can be used indoors. It can also be used wet or dry; a ¾-inch water connection port is built in and it includes a splash guard for wet cutting applications.
