Compact Equipment
Compact
excavator
The Volvo
EC35C compact excavator features a conventional excavator design for
exceptional stability with minimal superstructure swing. The ECR48C has
a short radius superstructure that turns inside the width of its tracks.
It can also be equipped with an optional counterweight to maximize use
of longer arms or heavy attachments. Both machines are powered by
new-generation Volvo diesel engines. Simultaneous control of swing and
boom offset movement enables faster, precise performance. Blade float
allows for quick and easy backfilling, leveling and finish work. The
joystick control lever is equipped with an electronically proportional
roller, allowing the operator to accurately adjust hydraulic flow as
needed to the attachments.

Hydraulic
hammer
The Terex TXH Series hydraulic
hammers are built for compatibility with Terex compact excavators and
loader backhoes. The hammers are vibra-silenced, through the polymer
suspension pad, to reduce total operator and carrier machine vibration
exposure. The TXH Series hammers include the TXH250S, TXH400S, TXH700S,
TXH1100S and the TXH1400S. The range of hammers offers 251 to 1,033

Floor
planer
With a complete line of high-speed steel and tungsten carbide
insert flails, Stow’s
floor planer is designed for milling misaligned sidewalks and joints,
removing thermoplastic markings and cleaning surfaces. Drum shafts can
be quickly removed for faster and easier flail changes. The floor planer
is available with a 5.5-hp Honda engine or a 5-hp electric motor. Wheels
located behind the drum make it easier to cut through high spots and the
cutting depth can be adjusted with a screw-type, positive-locking depth
selector. The unit has a cutting width of 8 inches and an optimal edger
attachment is available for close work along walls.

Portable
floor grinder
The TEQ-Edge portable floor grinder from Diteq features removable panels that
allow for grinding up to the edge of the wall, eliminating the need for
hand grinding. The side of the head cover comes off and the adjustable
axle enables the grinder to hug the wall for greater ease. Two models
are available; a 2-hp electric motor or a 5.5-hp Honda engine model. The
grinder comes with an 8-inch segmented grinding head. Replacement
grinding heads are available in 2 grit sizes: coarse and medium grit.
The unit is designed for repairing worn, damaged or spalled concrete;
grinding rough uneven slab surfaces; drainage control; and grinding hard
surfaces, featheredging sidewalks, gutters and similar surfaces.
