Earth-Moving
Compact hydraulic excavator
Komatsu introduces the PC27MR-3 compact hydraulic excavator, which is designed to bring increased production and added operator comfort, according to the manufacturer, to contractors in a variety of construction, utility and landscaping applications. The PC27MR-3 features an operating weight of 6,460 pounds and a maximum dig depth of 9 feet, 4 inches. The unit is powered by a 25.3-hp Komatsu direct-injection engine that meets EPA emissions requirements and is fuel efficient without sacrificing power of efficiency. The X-track frame is designed to deter the build-up of dirt and debris, saving the operator time when cleaning the machine.

Excavator
The on/off pavement XL 3300 III excavator from Gradall Industries weighs 39,000 pounds and offers productivity and versatility on a wide range of jobs. Its four-wheel-drive, rubber-tire undercarriage moves easily in dirt and mud, while also offering mobility on pavement. Even without the use of optional outriggers, the XL 3300 III has stability similar to a conventional crawler while working at either end or either side. New features include more comfort options and an in-cab switch to select the joystick pattern — either Gradall, Deere or SAE — to accommodate operator preference. Also, to simplify fleet maintenance management, nearly 90 percent of all service parts are interchangeable between Series III on/off pavement Gradall excavators. The XL 3300 III has a compact profile with a new rear counterweight design, resulting in a rear swing of 7 feet, 6 inches, enabling the excavator to work in traffic lanes without closing the road. The unit also features a digging depth of 18 feet, 5 inches and the boom reach at ground line is 27 feet, 3 inches.

Telehandlers
Telehandlers
The new Haulotte Top Lift (HTL) telehandlers have lift capacities of up to 9,000 pounds and lifting heights up to 54 feet, 10 inches. The HTL models are designed to be rapidly fitted with multiple accessories including forks, buckets, work tools, hooked brackets, metal windscreen protectors and side-mounted work tool containers. The units are also engineered with a significant reduction in noise and carbon dioxide emissions levels. Four-wheel drive and steering allow the units to handle rough terrain, and a tilt-correction function provides horizontal stabilization.

Telescopic handlers
The new Gehl DL Series Dynalift telescopic handlers have lift capacities from 7,000 to 12,000 pounds and lift heights from 40 to 55 feet. Models are available with a high-profile boom configuration to provide maximum visibility. Each model features a rear axle stabilization system for improved stability in all work environments. In addition, the Dynalift models do not require fluid-filled tires to meet stability requirements, and outriggers are optional.

Compressors
Portable compressor
Jenny Products introduces a line of electric hand-carry compressors that offers the convenience of an easily maneuverable compressor option for do-it-yourself homeowners and professional contractors. The lightweight and compact compressors feature a single-stage, direct-coupled pump, built with a cast iron cylinder for longer service life and an aluminum head to allow better dissipation of heat. All four electric hand-carry models feature 2-hp motors. The air tank sizes range from 1.5 to 6 gallons, with two models offering 4-gallon air tanks in either a vertical or horizontal configuration. Operating on 115-volt power, the hand-carry compressors each deliver up to 4.1 cfm at 100 psi or 3.6 cfm at 125 psi for quick recovery. The motor includes a start/stop pressure switch control set at 105 to 125 psi, a standard on/off switch and a thermal overload protection feature with manual reset.

Portable compressor line
Kaeser Compressors introduces the M15 and M17 to its Mobilair portable compressor line. With a durable polymer shell, the models combine Kaeser’s proprietary Sigma Profile airend with an industrial Honda gasoline engine. These units produce 50 to 60 scfm at 100 psig with variable pressures from 70 to 190 psig also available. The dent- and temperature-resistant molded polymer shell is suited for a variety of heavy-duty uses, while the lightweight, wheel-mounted package and hinged handle bar offers easy maneuverability. Vibration isolator pads absorb shock from the engine and airend, ensuring quiet operation.

Demolition Hammers & Tools
Mobile hydraulic hammer
The Arrow-Master Arrow Hammer Model 1350T is a pneumatic-tired, mobile hydraulic hammer that operates both on and off paved surfaces. An 8-hp John Deere diesel engine provides power for the hammer. The 1350T breaks, cuts and scores concrete, rock and asphalt into sizes suitable for excavation recovery. It also compacts and tamps backfill with adjustable impact up to 13,000 foot-pounds. Standard features include mechanical or electronic stroke control, ROPS, a pivoting mast for maximum impact on uneven surfaces, stoplights and reflectors, and a mechanical back-up alarm.

Breakers
The line of breakers from Huskie Hydraulic Hammers offers users improved serviceability due to a reduction in total parts, and also provides improved power-to-weight ratios. The breakers also feature multi-fit brackets to permit mounting on several different prime movers including compact excavators, skid-steer loaders and backhoes. The hydraulic hammer line features 11 models available from 100 to 8,000 foot-pounds. They also feature a modular design that is field serviceable with no special tools.
