Expects 5-Percent First-Half Revenue Growth

Aggreko last week said it anticipates that a very strong
performance in international power projects will be partly offset by
weaker conditions in its European and North American businesses. The
company made the announcement in a trading update issued in advance of
its interim results to be announced Aug. 25.

Meridian, Idaho-based Western States last week announced it will
host a grand opening ribbon cutting at its new $10 million,
55,000-square-foot facility in Hayden, Idaho. The new facility is one of
the largest and most energy efficient projects built in Idaho this year,
according to Western States Cat president Tom Harris.

Adds New Fort McMurray, Alberta, Location

Houston-based Aggreko is continuing its strategy for steady growth
in Canada with the addition of a new location in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
The 4,200-square-foot facility will provide storage for products, spare
parts and supplies, and with three staff based on site, will help
provide a quicker, more comprehensive response for local customers.

Provides Access Solution for New ThyssenKrupp Plant
June 29, 2009
Seattle-based Spider recently provided a powered access solution
and training for the installation of steel girder beams on a new
structure at the ThyssenKrupp USA steel processing plant in Calvert,
Ala., saving the contractor more than $50,000 and 10 days of set-up and
tear-down time compared with built-up scaffolding options.

permanent office in Peru, three years after first entering the South
American market. The new company, Choice Equipos y Servicios, is a

Confirms Five-Percent Higher Fuel Efficiency for Tier 4
June 29, 2009
Cummins Inc. last week announced the result of a “Fuel Duel”
test that confirmed a five-percent fuel efficiency improvement for a
Tier 4 Interim QSB6.7 installation compared to an identical machine
powered by a Tier 3 engine. The fuel consumption evaluation was
conducted under site conditions across a series of duty cycles
representative of typical working operations.

Awards 2009 Environment Prize
June 29, 2009
Volvo last week announced that its Volvo Environment Prize for 2009
will be awarded to Susan Solomon for her findings on ozone layer
depletion and her work on the United Nations climate panel. In
expeditions to Antarctica Solomon was able to map the mechanisms
underlying the hole in the ozone layer. In recent years, she has led the
most prestigious working group within the UN’s climate panel and
recently warned that manmade global climate changes may be irreversible
— that is, even if human carbon dioxide emissions are stopped, the
changes they are provoking can last more than 1,000 years.

Announces 2Q and Full-Year 2009 Earnings Guidance

Hertz Global Holdings last week forecast worldwide revenues in the
range of $1.70 to $1.75 billion, corporate EBITDA in the range of $260
million to $270 million, adjusted pre-tax income in the range of $65 to
$70 million and adjusted diluted earnings per share in the range of
$0.09 to $0.10 for the second quarter 2009.

Announces Expansion to Headquarters Facility
June 29, 2009
Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co. will break ground within weeks
on a new assembly bay at its world headquarters and manufacturing
facility in Lexington, Ky. The new bay will add manufacturing capability
and increase production capacity for large rough terrain cranes, large
truck cranes, and telescopic crawler cranes. Current plans have the new
bay online by mid 2011.

to Close North Dakota Facility
June 29, 2009
McConnellsburg, Pa.-based JLG Industries last week said it will
close its Oakes, N.D., production plant by Sept. 24. The company has
already laid off more than 100 workers there in the past year. The
remaining 61 workers’ jobs will be cut in September.
