Safety and Health Report
The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) and the National Volunteer Fire
Council (NVFC) released a report identifying key health and safety
issues affecting volunteer firefighters, including cardiovascular
disease, stress, personal protective equipment (PPE) policies,
department safety measures and vehicle safety issues.
