InfoComm's CAVSP Program Creates "Friendly Pressure" Among Integrators
At Audio-Visual Innovations (AVI), the corporate decision to pursue Certified Audio Visual Solutions Provider (CAVSP) accreditation for as many of the company's locations as possible touched off what Communications Manager Kristie Kidder calls a friendly but lively competition among the more than 20 AVI facilities.

AVI recently announced that its offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Salt Lake City, and its Florida office in Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa have all achieved the highest level of certification under the CAVSP program administered by InfoComm International and the International Communications Industries Association (ICIA). more>>

Crestron Introduces New Tabletop TPMC-8T WiFi Touchpanel
Crestron introduces its new Isys i/O TPMC-8T 8.4in. tabletop touchpanel, featuring an embedded Windows XP operating system that provides secure onboard PC functionality including 802.11a/b/g wireless capabilities. TPMC-8T is the new fixed tabletop version of the award-winning TPMC-8X WiFi touchpanel, providing a stationary mounting option with wired Ethernet connectivity. The fixed-tilt design features a 37-degree angle, which is ideal for podium, table or counter surface installation in a variety of applications.
