KVM Switches
Answer Call to AV/IT Action
By Jessaca Gutierrez
A staple among devices in the server room, the
KVM switch is garnering a bit more attention on the AV side of the
networking platform. Traditionally, the KVM switch was developed to
manage the burgeoning crowd of CRT monitors, keyboards, and mice. Early
models of the switch connected these devices to two desktop
workstations. Later, however, innovation took hold and KVM switches
become the control tool for racks of servers. The value-add of such a
tool was its ability to conserve precious rack space while still

Chad
Caines
Pleasanton, CA
I design computer-based visual attractions and produce multimedia
content for commercial and industrial applications. I have created audio
visual graphics for live stage performances, retail projects and outdoor
public events. As a producer, I approach creative opportunities more
like a boutique rather than an agency. I have an impressive Rolodex
filled with artist, technicians and engineers and I like to work with
clients on a one-to-one basis providing them with direction and support
throughout the entire development process. Concepts Think extraordinary.
Consider adding audio/visual elements to a corporate or retail
environment in order to create a scenic illusion, execute a branding
opportunity or deliver an important message. These high impact
multimedia solutions are the most effective way to reach a target
audience with the type of out-of-home experiences that they won't
forget. No concept or idea is too outrageous. Ultimately, innovative
work that transcends the medium and connects with your audience is what
matters. Keep in touch. Watch the reel>>
