Ultimate Home Theater Melds Style, Comfort, and Usability
Georgia-based custom AV firm Home Waves worked with a homeowner to make a dedicated theater area as part of their finished basement. The goal was to have multiple viewing areas on the terrace level with the theater to be used for experiencing movies. By collaborating with the builder, architect, and interior designer, the client was able to make the construction of the theater a success. Hearing Clearly with Final Sound's 300i
The 300i from Final Sound is a line-array electrostatic panel. The design is said to make the speaker less prone to acoustic influences and to bring an evenly distributed sound pressure level to any listening position in the room. Frequency response is given as 100Hz to 22,000Hz, with sensitivity of 86dB and impedance of 4§Ù. Recommended amplifier power is 60W a side, although the panels can operate on lower powered amplifiers due to Final's proprietary inverter technology. more>>

The MartinLogan Descent subwoofer packs three 250W (700W peak) Vojtko amplifiers to reach peak power of 2100W without the need for ported or passive radiator enclosures. The organic LED (OLED) features interchangeable slide-in control templates to offer flexible and decor-friendly designs.
