Audio-over-IP for an Entertainment Venue, Part 2

In part two of this podcast (listen to part one), Adam VanOort with DataNab, an IP systems programming firm, goes into more detail on the installation of a Barix audio-over-IP network at Nickelodeon Universe, a seven-acre amusement park inside the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. The park divided the system into four quadrants and it uses the Barix network for on-demand playback, live streaming music, and repeating announcements. Technology consulting firm Elert and Associates also took part in the system design and installation. more>>
