Parker Chelsea supplies
new 898 Series PTO

Parker Chelsea makes PTO and pump installation simpler and more reliable for oilfield exploration and maintenance trucks. Because of the large physical size of pumps used on these applications, clearance has always been a challenge. Chelsea’s new 898 Series was designed with this in mind to provide maximum clearance for the 4000–4500 Series transmissions with the oil cooler option. This PTO is a constant mesh version of the 891 Series. Access www.parker.com for more details.

Under-chassis gen-set designed
for new sliding skeletal trailers

Klinge Corporation's new BRG-540-SC under-chassis generator set was designed specifically for new sliding skeletal trailers that overcome the absence of a multi-purpose trailer capable of servicing reefers ranging from 20 to 45 feet. This has historically been a major restriction. The height of the BRG-540-SC gen-set has been lowered for compatibility with conventional loading docks—a significant change for cold chain operators. For more information, e-mail jasonflynn@klingecorp.com.

Sunrise provides integrated
version of its pipe notcher

Trilogy Machinery Inc, the US distributor for Sunrise ironworkers and punching machines, announced that Sunrise has released a new version of its pipe notcher. The integrated model can accept up to 1.5" Schedule 40 pipe and mounts directly in the standard die block for all dual-cylinder and punching machine models. This new design allows the user even faster changeout time as no additional die block is needed. More information can be found at www.sunriseiw.com.tw.

Goodyear rolls out new
trailer wide-base tires

Goodyear has introduced its G392 SSD drive and G394 SST trailer wide-base tires for long-haul and regional-haul uses. These new tires, which feature Fuel Max Technology, offer flat protection, thanks to Goodyear’s DuraSeal Technology, a gel-like inner liner that instantly seals punctures of up to 1/4-inch in the repairable area of the tread. DuraSeal does not seal sidewall punctures. The G392 SSD and G394 SST are EPA SmartWay-verified. For more details, go to www.fleetHQ.com.
