US Liner uses reinforced recycled
core for eco-friendly composite
US Liner Company announces its latest green initiative: ECOTEX. This glass-reinforced composite is manufactured by laminating Versitex skins onto a chopped long-fiber polypropylene and glass core.
ECOTEX offers twice the impact protection of conventional fiberglass panels, is lighter in weight, and costs less. Currently provided in 3/16" thicknesses and widths up to 96" by virtually any length, ECOTEX sheets are suitable for many applications. Access www.USLCO.com for more details.

Transfer Flow offers 50-gallon
fuel tank for Ford pickup
Transfer Flow Inc, a manufacturer of aftermarket fuel tank systems, has introduced a 50-gallon replacement fuel tank for the 2011 Ford diesel crew cab short-wheelbase pickup.
The 50-gallon replacement fuel tank is made from 12- and 14-gauge aluminized steel for corrosion resistance and strength, and is baffled for extra support. Vector reefer units
qualify among quietest
Testing shows Carrier Transicold's Vector units are North America’s quietest diesel-powered trailer refrigeration units. The Vector 6500 single-temperature unit was tested in accordance with ARI Standard 1120, paired against a competitive unit of comparable capacity equipped with a factory-installed sound-reduction package.
