PRO-Alert
refrigerant leak detector debuts
Tracer Products has introduced the TP-9360 PRO-Alert,
a portable refrigerant leak detector that employs heated-diode sensor
technology to detect refrigerant leaks. The PRO-Alert has a
high-sensitivity setting when initially checking the general leak area,
and a low-sensitivity setting to hone in on the exact leak site. It is
self-calibrating and sensitive to both R-12 and R-134a refrigerants.
Its variable-intensity audible alarm and flashing LED help pinpoint
leaks. For more details, visit www.tracerline.com.

Grote dome
lamp makes on-off switch obsolete
Grote Industries announced that its new 61F61 infrared
motion-activated dome lamp is in stock and shipping. The firm developed
and field-tested a sealed-sensor design that blocks moisture. High
humidity often causes corrosion and compromises on-off switch operation.
“This dome lamp removes the on-off switch from the equation, along
with inevitable loose wires, additional parts, and installation time,”
said Grote's Scott Robertson. More information is at www.grote.com.
