Automated plasma welding, new in North America until very recently,
is considered to be a major enhancement of the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas)
process involving a free electric arc in an inert or neutral gas. Plasma
welding is one of Air Liquide Canada's new Advanced Fabrication
Technologies (AFT) programs. This welding process meets the special
