Goff's Welding Curtain
Walls
Goff's welding curtain walls slide in and out of use easily to form a
UV
protected area. Goff's curtains are spark resistant. Goff's Weld
curtains can help with the containment of welding fumes keeping them
confined to that area until proper exhaust can occur. Curtain walls
can
act as a shield from harmful flying debris.

Building a naval warship is like no other job in the world. It is
not just creating a very large collection of welded and machined
fabrications, it is creating a very large object that moves with
purpose
and, to the men and women who serve aboard it, something that becomes
more than just an object. It becomes an entity with idiosyncratic
characteristics that make it feel like it has a life of its own.

Time spent maintaining a MIG gun can be considered downtime, but
that doesn't mean it is time wasted. Proper gun maintenance can
substantially extend the service life of the equipment and reduce the
even greater cost of weld rework. Diagnosing and correcting minor
problems, such as loose connections, can avert more serious equipment
failures and weld defects.

Robotic transporters are a key part of automating the welding of
extremely large, heavy parts. The maximum work radius of an
extended-reach robot is about 3-meters (9.84 ft.). If the parts you
weld
require more reach than that, ways have to be found to move the robot
to
the part to provide optimal torch access to the welds.

It should come as no surprise to anyone in the welding industry
that
welding fumes can be dangerous. Packaging for welding electrodes has
carried warning labels since the mid-1960s that say so. And, anyone who
has welded has seen - or should have seen - those warnings repeatedly.
Similar warnings have been placed on welding equipment.
